Pouches x a million

I played around with my blog yesterday and changed the layout and colours. What do you think?? :) Today has been a busy sewing day. I made three pouches with another three more on the way! I am really pleased with the results! I am also starting to notice that my photos are looking better. Most of the time I am not that happy with them but these pouches have been real easy to photograph.

These pouches are now available in my shop.

Mail Love

Today has been a wonderful day for mail! To make up for the dreary rainy morning we are having I found a nice suprise waiting for me in my letter box. First up was my new sweet doll all the way from Italy from Chromantication. I can not say enough how much I adore her. She is perfect in every way, so beautifully made.

The other parcel I recieved was from The Black Apple!! Last year I bought this print and I just love her work so I bought another one and got a free smaller print with it. I can't wait to find frames for them to hang them up.

Oh and I guess I should mention my home and garden magazine arrived in the mail too! I know what I will be doing tonight.

So for now it's back to making more pouches. I sold my first Strawberry Shortcake one last week which is heading it's way to America and I decided to make a whole variety to put up in my shop. They are so cute.

Here are some better photos of little miss and her Strawberry Shortcake pouch. I am loving this fabric I used for the pouch and I am thinking I might make some more for my etsy shop.... and keeping one for myself!

Catch up

It has been awhile since posting last but my mother has been staying with me these past 3 weeks and we have been busy doing mother daughter stuff. She is over for a bit of a rest from the devastating earthquakes in Christchurch, New Zealand.

I've been playing around with new ideas for dolls and I made this sweetie the other night. She comes with a matching pouch and is a birthday present for a little girl. I'm sure she will like them as I do! I would show more photos but this is the only decent one I have, so tomorrow I will do another photo session when the lighting is better.

Sleepy munchie

It has been rather hot these past few days. And sometimes it makes you rather sleepy! As I caught little Gizmo here all tuckered out and looking so cute.

He sometimes sleeps in the most funny positions. Like with his head dangling over the edge of the shelf or fully lying on his back with his legs sticking out into the air.

On a sad note his brother Moose had to be put down about a week ago. He got sick real quick and we had to say goodbye. So Gizmo went abit quite for a few days but he has perked up to his normal self now :)
